F.A.Q.

How long will it take to receive my furniture?

Each piece is made to order, and the typical lead time is 2-4 weeks. However the lead time will change depending on how busy we are. This allows us to ensure that every detail is crafted with care and precision. You’ll receive updates on the progress of your order, and we’ll notify you once your table is ready to ship.

What materials do you use for your tables?

We use solid hardwoods—specifically red oak —for all of our tables. We have began to offer white pine as well. These materials are chosen for their beauty, and timeless appeal. Each piece is finished by hand with eco-friendly, non-toxic products that are safe for your home.

What is the difference between white pine and red oak?

White pine would be considered a soft wood, whereas red oak is a hardwood. The difference is that red oak is more durable to dings and the everyday wear and tear.

Should I choose white pine or red oak?

If you have young kids (or grandkids) we recommend red oak as it's more durable. If you don't want your table to show dings or scratches then we say red oak. But some people like how a pine table looks with dings and scratches. If you want the table to remain looking pristine, then red oak.

How can I track my order?

We will send you a tracking number to your email once your package has been shipped.

Can I request custom dimensions for a table?

Absolutely! We understand that every space is unique, and we can customize dimensions to fit your needs. Simply reach out to us, and we’ll work with you to create a table that’s perfect for your home.

How do I care for my table?

Our tables are designed to last for generations with proper care. To keep your table looking its best, we recommend cleaning it with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals, and always use coasters or placemats to protect the surface from heat and moisture. We provide a table cleaner with all of our tables. It effectively removes dirt, grease, and grime from wood surfaces without damaging the wood or affecting its finish. This ensures that your wood furniture remains clean and well-maintained, prolonging their lifespan and keeping them looking their best.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, we stand behind the craftsmanship of our tables with a 75-year warranty. Each table is built to last a lifetime and beyond, and if you experience any issues related to the materials or construction, we will work with you to make it right.

Where do you ship?

We proudly ship our handcrafted furniture all throughout the U.S., ensuring that no matter where you are, you can bring the warmth and beauty of our tables into your home.

Can you tell me more about your shipping process?

Our tables are shipped via private shipping partners. The delivery will be to the customers front door. The assembly process takes 10 minutes and comes with simple instructions.

What is your "Cosmetic Standard"?

Due to the natural characteristics of wood, each piece of furniture we create will have its own unique grain pattern and subtle variations in color. Because of this, we cannot guarantee an exact match in stain color to previous tables, as every piece of wood absorbs stain differently. While we always use the specific stain or paint color you’ve requested for your order, slight differences between your table and photos or previous pieces are normal and part of the beauty of working with natural materials. Once finished, we are unable to rework the table to achieve an exact color match, as this is beyond our control and part of the inherent nature of working with wood.

Why doesn't every table look identical?

Due to the natural characteristics of wood, each piece of furniture we create will have its own unique grain pattern and subtle variations in color. While we always use the specific stain or paint color you’ve requested for your order, slight differences between your table and photos or previous pieces are normal and part of the beauty of working with natural materials. Can you match a custom stain color?

Yes we can. If you’d like a custom stain, you’ll need to visit rubiomonocoat.com and select the specific stain and let us know which type of wood you’d like us to use. Keep in mind, different wood types absorb stain in their own unique way. Once we apply the stain to your chosen wood, the final result may not look exactly as you envisioned. This is because each piece of wood has its own grain pattern and natural variations, which can lead to slight differences in color. For this reason, we cannot rework the stain to achieve an exact match.

Products Information

What does no VOCs mean?

VOC stands for Volatile Organic Compounds, which are chemicals found in many household products that evaporate into the air. VOCs can be harmful to both health and the environment, causing issues like allergic reactions, respiratory problems, and contributing to air pollution.

When we say our finishes are "No VOC," it means that they contain zero of these harmful compounds, making them much safer for your home and family. This also ensures that our furniture releases no toxic fumes into the air, creating a healthier living environment. Our hand-applied finishes, like Rubio Monocoat, are not only safe but also eco-friendly, contributing to cleaner indoor air and protecting the environment
