My journey into furniture making started with a simple request from my wife. She wanted custom side tables for our bedroom, but the ones we found were priced at $1,000 each. I knew I could create something even better, something that perfectly fit our space. So, with some basic tools from Lowe’s, I built the tables right on our front porch. When she saw them, she loved them—and that’s when I realized how much I loved the process of creating something with my own hands.

From there, I made a coffee table, and then a set of barn doors, and it became clear that after a decade as an attorney, I had found something that truly excited me.
